Mick has relocated to Helsinki, Finland for the time being to further pursue work in the classical world.

Biography

Mick Rafalski is an American singer, actor, and dancer currently based in Helsinki, Finland, with a growing focus on opera and classical repertoire while remaining active in musical theatre and stage performance. Mick is a roster tenor for the Additional Chorus of the Finnish National Opera & Ballet.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Mick trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and continued his vocal studies under the guidance of Dr. Bruce Kolb. His dance training was shaped by master ballet instructor Daniel Catanach, and his acting work has been developed through intensive study with Seth Barrish and Lee Brock at the Barrow Group in New York City.
His U.S. credits include the Broadway National Tour of Peter and the Starcatcher (directed by Roger Rees and Alex Timbers), My Fair Lady (directed by Michael Arden at Bay Street Theater), and regional productions of South Pacific, Oklahoma!, Into the Woods, The Rocky Horror Show, Sweeney Todd, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, among others.
Additional performance highlights include Hairspray in Concert with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, featuring John Waters and Beth Leavel, under the baton of Maestro Jack Everly. Internationally, Mick has performed as a vocalist with Disney in both Tokyo and Paris.
Alongside his performing career, Mick works as a personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist, bringing a strong understanding of physical alignment and conditioning to his performance practice.
He is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
